Let It Be Liverpool

The Liver Birds stand proudly, as rain falls gently down,
The Ferries, Trains and buses, bring visitors to town.
The new John Lennon Airport, brings people from afar,
They'll take their trips to Matthew Street and all the brand new bars.
There's visitors to Church Street, the Albert Dock's great thrill,
The Cavern and the late night clubs and concerts at "The Phil."
The Empire up on Lime Street, has all the latest shows,
The Beatles' Story, Maritime, The restaurants and Bistro's.
The people are so friendly and those who come will say,
The City's really looking great, we'll come again some day.
The bells from both Cathedrals ring out for all to hear,
That Liverpool's the place to be, in this our Culture Year.
