Our portrait's finished now
we take our place
amongst the greats, the artist's
caught our enigmatic smile
our Mona Lisa look.
And Constable - he knew our drift,
thats us, the leaders of the flock.
Our cousin, twice removed,
did a great favour once - posed
for The Scapegoat - guided Hol,an Hunt.
So, fame assured
we safely graze on gallery walls.
Through half closed eyes look down
to view the viewers pass,
prick back our cars,
bask in their praise.
