The "Liverpool Lads"

Liverpool Lads from every sphere,
Enrolled to make a new career,
Bringing skills from every trade,
To "Liverpool City" Fire Brigade.
Training done, they joined the fray,
Facing dangers every day.
But! Tightly knit they came to be,
A closely bonded family.

Men of grit and dedication,
Earned "Hatton Garden" its reputation,
Comaraderie was unsurpassed,
Officers and men first class.
Courageous, brave, citations read,
"Second to none," the residents said.
Hazards faces, yet, with each test,
For "Liverpoool Lads," those days were best.
