The Dockers Lot

In the pen trying to catch ,
the tallyman's eye
a hard days work , just to get by
at the end of the day , he might be turned away
with an empty stomach and mouths to feed ,
but he will return the very next day
The dockers lot , when the boat comes in
feast and food on the table
, even a pint or two down the pub
, a sing , song jars out round to my house
All our troubles cares and woe ....................
