Stuck in the corner

Stuck in the corner
waiting for the train
tried to get the underground
to avoid the rain
stuck here in Lime Street
hoping to meet
some friendly faces
get a lift to save my feet
been out shopping
carrying all the bags
weighed down with bargins
while my legs start to sag
stuck here in the corner
sittin on the wall
trying to hail a taxi
before to my knees
I fall
all the shops in Church Street
and the market too
all have got sales on
so I got a bargain or two
so I went and bought some
and now I'm feeling glam
I'm waiting for the bus home
and there's a smoking ban.
